Our Frederico Rato gave his opinion to Lusa about the recent initiative of Guangzhou Internet Court that established a dispute resolution platform. This platform offers ‘online’ mediation services in several languages, including Portuguese, and is the first multidisciplinary online dispute resolution platform in cooperation with Hong Kong and Macau, according to the Chinese Supreme People’s Court. Our Frederico Rato who became the first Macau lawyer to join the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission told Lusa that the commission wanted to integrate legal experts who master the Portuguese language and know the Portuguese-speaking markets.
