We were truly honored to host a visit from lawyers representing the Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and Macau Lawyers Training Camp, organized by the Zhuhai Lawyers Association.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for exchange and collaboration among legal professionals from these three regions.

During the visit our Frederico Rato, Paula Ling, Pedro Cortés, Calvin Chui, 华海伦 Helena Nazaré Valente and Carla Veiga (韋碧嘉), engaged in insightful discussions with the visiting lawyers.

The focus of these discussions revolved around the current state and future prospects of legal services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Our team also had the privilege of sharing their own experiences and insights gained from their legal practice.

In particular, Calvin Chui provided a comprehensive overview of the current financial landscape and the development of Macau’s financial legal system, shedding light on the unique opportunities and challenges within the region.

This training camp plays a vital role in fostering stronger exchanges and cooperation among lawyers from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.

By enhancing the level of legal services in the region, we can collectively contribute to the improvement of the regional legal service standards.

We firmly believe that through continued collaboration and the sharing of expertise, lawyers from these three regions will work together to further elevate the legal service profession within the Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau Greater Bay Area.
