Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of lawyers from Shenzhen at our Macau office. Frederico Rato, Paula Ling, Lei Wun Kong, Pedro Cortés, and Chang San Chi warmly welcomed our Colleagues, engaging in a cordial and friendly exchange of views on legal matters.

During the session, our partners provided a detailed introduction to our firm’s development, the legal environment, regulations in Macau and Portuguese Speaking Countries, and its future trends. They highlighted the similarities and differences between the legal systems. The Shenzhen lawyers expressed their purpose of gaining a deeper understanding of Macau’s legal system, aiming to strengthen the connection between legal affairs and explore possibilities for future cooperation.

This visit holds great significance as it not only strengthens the legal ties between Shenzhen and Macau but also provides new impetus for the further development of the legal professions in both regions. We eagerly anticipate future exchanges and cooperation with mainland lawyers, fostering closer integration of legal affairs within the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
